Subansiri Upper Hydroelectric Project

Recently, hundreds of people in Daporijo, Arunachal Pradesh, staged protests against the proposed Subansiri Upper Hydroelectric Project. This project is a 1,800 MW run-of-the-river hydroelectric plant planned on the Subansiri River basin in Arunachal Pradesh.
