Just like the River Ganga, which passes through various stages — from its origin at Gangotri as a small stream, through its vigorous mountain course, and finally reaching a calm and placid stage — the Civil Service Institute, Pala, too has undergone a similar journey. 

Today, it stands in its mature and steady phase, and I have been a part of all these stages. I am proud to say that I have witnessed all these stages of development of this Institute. 

Now, this institute has so far contributed hundreds of civil servants to the nation. 

Just as Jesus once responded to the question, “Can anything good come from Nazareth?”, this institute too has given its own resounding answer to those who once wondered if anything remarkable could come from Pala — through these dedicated civil servants. 
It is indeed significant that so many who play crucial roles in India's administrative system are proud alumni of this institute.
