Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary
Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary is located on the Aravalli mountain range, specifically along the Delhi Ridge, which is the northernmost extension of the Aravallis.
The Aravalli Range is one of the world’s oldest fold mountain ranges, running through Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi.
The sanctuary forms a crucial part of the Northern Aravalli Leopard Wildlife Corridor, connecting it with the forests of Haryana and Rajasthan.
The rocky, undulating terrain, quartzite ridges, and dry deciduous forests within the sanctuary are characteristic features of the Aravalli geology.
