The name Trionda is derived from “tri” (meaning “three”) and “onda” (Spanish/Portuguese for “wave”), together hinting at a “triple wave” — a reference to the three host nations (USA, Canada, Mexico). The name symbolizes unity and continuity among the co-hosts. Design & Aesthetics

The colour scheme is predominantly white, accented with red, green, and blue — these colors represent Canada (red), Mexico (green), and the United States (blue). Inside the graphics, the ball includes national symbols: A maple leaf (Canada) An eagle (Mexico) A star (USA) Gold accents are included, symbolically referencing the World Cup trophy.

The design uses flowing, wave-style panels, inspired by the “la ola” (the wave) seen in stadiums across the Americas. One notable aspect is that the ball consists of only four panels — the fewest ever used in a FIFA World Cup official match ball.
