Tezpur Litchi

Tezpur Litchi is a premium variety of litchi grown in and around Tezpur in Assam, known for its sweetness, bright-red colour, distinctive aroma, and high-quality pulp.

It received the Geographical Indication (GI) tag in 2013.
Major varieties cultivated include Bombaya, Bilati, Elaichi, Piyaji, and Sahi.
It is an important horticultural export product of Assam, with recent exports reaching markets such as Dubai.
