About Nimesulide
Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) first introduced in Italy in 1985.
It is used for pain relief, reducing inflammation, and lowering fever.
Common indications include acute pain, musculoskeletal disorders, dental pain, osteoarthritis, and dysmenorrhea.
Nimesulide works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX), an enzyme involved in the production of prostaglandins, which cause pain, inflammation, and fever.
By reducing prostaglandin levels, it relieves pain, swelling, and inflammation, improving mobility and overall comfort.
