A 16th-century historic gateway in Delhi built by Sher Shah Suri, later associated with the execution of Mughal princes during the Revolt of 1857.
Originally called Lal Darwaza/Kabuli Darwaza, linked to trade routes toward Kabul.
Part of the fortifications near Purana Qila.
Now a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India with restricted entry.
