Recently, Jordan signed the Artemis Accords at NASA Headquarters, expanding global participation in cooperative space exploration.
The Artemis Accords are a non-binding set of principles (launched in 2020) to guide peaceful, transparent, and sustainable civil space exploration.
Co-led by NASA and the U.S. Department of State with founding partners; India is also a signatory.
Promote peaceful exploration, transparency (data sharing), interoperability, and emergency assistance.
Emphasise sustainability—heritage preservation, responsible resource use, and safe disposal of orbital debris.
