Recently, the International Union for Conservation of Nature has uplisted the Emperor Penguin to the Endangered category in its Red List.
 • It is the tallest and heaviest penguin species.
 • Found across the Antarctic continent, highly adapted to extreme cold conditions.
 • Lives on sea ice and surrounding waters, making it the most ice-dependent penguin.
