Bekal Fort

Bekal Fort is a magnificent coastal fort located in Kasaragod district of Kerala, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Built in the 17th century, it is the largest and one of the best-preserved forts in Kerala. The fort is renowned for its striking laterite stone architecture and its unique keyhole shape, designed primarily for defense rather than as a royal residence.
